Communities bring together everything related to a group of employees in a single space: their news feed, messaging, documents, and events. Organization is no longer based on tools, but on teams.

What's Changing

Each site, department, or project team now has its own space in Steeple. A community’s posts are visible only to its members, which keeps the general feed uncluttered and makes each piece of information more relevant to those who receive it.

Two types of community creation coexist. Dynamic communities are automatically created based on directory fields (site, department, position): when an employee changes assignments, they are automatically added to the correct community and removed from the previous one without any action required. Manual communities allow you to freely choose members for groups that do not follow the organizational chart, such as the Works Council, steering committee, or manager network.

• Local management: Each community has a dedicated administrator who posts content and manages its members without going through the communications team.
• No manual management: dynamic communities track your organization in real time.
• A comprehensive overview: The general administrator retains control over all of the company's communities.

How do I use it?

1. Create your community: From the admin panel, choose either dynamic or manual mode and name the space.
2. Define members: Link directory fields or select employees one by one.
3. Appoint an administrator: he or she will coordinate the space and manage check-ins and check-outs.
4. Enable the apps: Choose what the community should include (news, messaging, documents, events).
